How do I calculate business days between two dates?
Choose a start date and end date, then turn on Business days only. The calculator counts Monday through Friday and leaves out Saturdays and Sundays. You can also choose whether the end date should be included.
What is the difference between calendar days and business days?
Calendar days include every day in a date range. Business days usually mean Monday through Friday, excluding weekends. Public holidays are separate because they differ by country, region and workplace.
Does this business days calculator exclude public holidays?
No. It excludes Saturdays and Sundays when business-day mode is selected, but it does not automatically remove public or company holidays. Check the relevant holiday calendar before setting a final deadline.
Does the calculator account for leap years and different month lengths?
Yes. The calculation follows the actual calendar, including leap years and months with 28, 29, 30 or 31 days.
How can I find the date 90 business days from today?
Open Add or subtract days, choose today's date, enter 90, select Add and turn on Business days only. The result skips Saturdays and Sundays on the way to the final date.
What does Include end date change?
By default, the difference between the same date is zero. Include end date counts the final day as part of the range, which is useful for schedules where both the first and last date are active days.
